(I'm totally biased, because I illustrated the book.) I ran 2 one shots of SoB last year, and had a ton of fun both times. Some thoughts: Re: Archetypes, nothing really jumped out at me as being horribly unbalanced, but the Archetypes definitely run into the issue where they don't all belong on the ...

Re: Stuff

Hi all, Running my first SOB session tomorrow night, just a couple of points, no problem for me not to have a map of the city, I would rather keep it fluid and not locked down. I like the idea of a random adventure generator, something like the system in Shinetar, i love the detail and twists in th...

I can't give an official answer, but I think here or anywhere is cool. Just be sure to note it's fan material and preferably point people to streetsofbedlam.com, and I think you'd be golden.

One of the codes that didn't go out was mine. I've seen almost all of it, but not the final final PDF.

*dies*

EDIT: Oh wait, I just remembered that I only kicked in $5, since I knew by then that I was drawing the thing, but I wanted an NPC and to comment on KS updates.

I just wanted to chime in with my excitement that I'm drawing this bad boy. The more I work on it, the more it feels like a perfect fit of artist and project. Really, about the only better project for me would be if someone wanted to make the German Expressionist Silent Film Savage Worlds Setting. T...

By the way, the clockworks hiatus has been over for about a month now. I was pretty quiet about it because I wanted to make sure I stuck to it. Today's comic however, is a lot of fun and I think a great point to jump on the comic (or back on). http://shawntionary.com/clockworks/ /shameless plug

Is it a browser issue (I use Firefox by default) or are they just not live yet?

The later.

Thanks. I took an unplanned hiatus over the summer, but the downloads section will be updated asap.

Also: comics, yo.

Bump for anniversary week and hitting the front page (again) :D

The basic version of the Clockworks Test Drive will go live this week, at which point I suppose I'll probably make a thread over in Homebrew Settings and Conversions for the gamer end of things.

The very first fight in the very first session of Clockworks was a dozen anarchists and one wild card. I'm right there with you on the joy of hordes. When I ran Evernight, I ended up owning something like 50 Genestealers from 40K (worked at a game store at the time.) I might just have two of the Bag...

I really think that Acrobat, Fleet Footed, and giving a Bennie out for creative descriptions should be enough.

I think your solution here is simply to add more zombies. Like if the D&D adventure says there are 10 zombies, make it 20, or 50.

Problem solved!

(Note: more zombies may be my solution to most everything...)

I'm actually a big minis junkie, and a big terrain/dungeon tile/whatever junkie as well. I really enjoy just looking out at the table and seeing a bunch of cool stuff. That said, the first SW game I ever played didn't use minis, and when I ran Necessary Evil I didn't use them either. It worked just ...

http://shawntionary.com/clockworks/?p=1306 The campaign Clockworks is based on ended yesterday! Our heroes faced the big bad, and may or may not have been victorious and may or may not have survived. The big final boss battle went well, and I'd ramble about the details but I really can't for fear of...

I started the Clockworks campaign like that. We'd made characters and figured out how they exist together the previous week, so the first session began with "A few moments ago, a huge explosion rocked the neighborhood. You ran to investigate and are now standing outside an abandoned factory tha...
