Re: Plot Point Campaign Runtimes

I ran The Flood in around 15 four-hour sessions (60 hours). That was a breakneck pace for it, but it worked out well enough. I ran Last Sons in around 30 four-hour sessions (120 hours), and that was a much easier pace, with quite a few side-treks.

Re: Tor to publish new Deadlands novels?

Ghostwalkers had a great audiobook. Does anyone know if Thunder Moon Rising will be available as an audiobook as well?

I asked this a couple years ago and got conflicting answers. Here's the thread:

The only other retcon I've found between Classic and Reload is the date of the invention of Spook Juice, which is moved by quite a bit.

I've seen conflicting answers to this particular question.

For example, here is a reply from Clint in 2010 indicating that Breech Birth can't heal permanent wounds:

Multiple Knacks

Can a character have multiple Knack edges? For example, both Bastard and Born on All Hallows Eve?

[DLR] Does shamanism qualify one for the Champion edge?

Shamanism, in a lot of ways, works like the Miracles edge from SWD. Normally the Champion edge requires AB (Miracles), but in Deadlands does Shamanism qualify one for the Champion edge? (AB Miracles obviously does.)

I think the real question here is: What would you count as invalidating the player's actions? You know more about their intent when saving Manning than any of us do. But depending on what you count as invalidating the actions, one of these might work: * Manning is alive, but didn't get there in time...

Thanks for the response.

But actually, after digging through the forum some more, I uncovered this post which seems to indicate that Breech Birth cannot heal permanent injuries.

[DLR] Knack (Breech Birth) & Permanent Injuries

The Knack (Breech Birth) edge states that the character can spend a fate chip to use the Greater Healing power, with a single automatic success. My question is: Does this mean a Breech Birth character can spend a fate chip to use Greater Healing to automatically heal permanent injuries? Greater Heal...

When I ran The Flood a couple years ago the PCs made it all the way through the campaign up to Grimme himself, and then were wiped out to a man. TPK. I'm planning to run The Last Sons in the upcoming months and I figured that afterward I would have the party swing by California and finish what the l...
