[SR] Dragon takes Size increase at Seasoned, is Strength increase only in dragon form?

[SAVAGE RIFTS] When a Hatchling Dragon takes the Size increase at Seasoned, does the Strength increase that goes with it only apply in dragon form? In other words, if that dragon uses metamorphosis into a humanoid form, does he lose the extra die type in Strength? (I ask because the Size Increase ab...

Fast Regeneration, success removes Incapacitated status…

Where it says that Fast Regeneration, on a success, removes one Wound or removes Incapacitated status, does that mean it can remove Incapacitation suffered from Fatigue, spell effects, or other Hazards?

[SR] Techno-Wizard vehicle power upgrades, invisibility, fly, etc

If a Techno-Wizard upgrades a vehicle to have the kind of power that normally affects only up to five other people, such as invisibility, does that limit apply to the occupants of the vehicle? Or does everyone occupying the vehicle become invisible?

[SR] Dragon's natural teleport power subject to Multi-Action Penalty?

Is the Flame Wind Hatchling Dragon's natural teleport power, which is activated by a Spirit roll rather than an Arcane Skill roll… A) Treated like a spell/psionic power for purposes of a Multi-Action penalty, or… B) Treated as a natural form of Movement like flying or walking without imposing a pena...

[SR] Two-handed flaming demon sword vs dragon, damage or no damage?

In our Savage RIFTS game last night we had the dragon face off against a large demon who was wielding a "two-handed flaming demon sword," and when, after a successful hit on the former by the latter, I began scooping up dice to roll damage, my players protested that if the flaming sword wa...

Good idea! Hope it gets an official answer, it's gonna come up in my game tomorrow night! Cheers!

EDIT: We have an official answer from Clint! Psionics are not treated as magic for damage purposes except when powering certain TW weapons.

[SR] Are psionic attacks considered magical attacks for damage purposes?

If a foe takes half-damage from non-magical attacks, does it take full or half-damage from psionic attacks?

Re: [SR] GM looking for advice re Glitter Boy Boom Gun, MBT

In our games we houseruled that the Boom Gun doesn't use a MBT, just hits a single target. We felt that it was more in keeping with how the original worked, and that for the player the loss of being able to wipe out groups of foes was balanced by not killing all of your teammates everytime you fire...

Re: [SR] GM looking for advice re Glitter Boy Boom Gun, MBT

Good point about the size restrictions. If I'm reading the TLPG right, page 90, a Glitter Boy, Size 3, could use up to a Mod-4 weapon, which would require a d12+4 STR to operate, so he could pick up a Medium Rail Gun and fire that, although I think it would require both hands.' Does that sound right?

[SR] Does Pecos Empire have a capital city, per se?

I've been up and down the material on the Pecos Empire, and I cannot figure out which city is the capital, where the "emperor" Sabre Lasar is based.

Or does Sabre Lasar cleverly moves his base around so as to make it difficult for those who would unseat him?

Re: [SR] GM looking for advice re Glitter Boy Boom Gun, MBT

The sidearm is a really intriguing idea.

I suppose any of the sidearms wielded by robot armor troops would be usable, such as mini rail guns, light rail guns, and so on.

Thanks for the ideas!

[SR] GM looking for advice re Glitter Boy Boom Gun, MBT

I'm running Savage RIFTS and I have a Glitter Boy character in the party who wipes the walls with the Coalition enemies they've faced so far, which I'm fine with. But my players are chafing at the MBT specification, and want a GM ruling as to whether other ammo might be available, specifically, ammo...

Attempting to drag or carry a struggling opponent (or victim) in a specific direction

Like, in a horror game, if a masked killer grabs hold of a screaming co-ed and is trying to drag her to a specific room in his house, after the initial success at grappling, what's the rule for how quickly he can move along down the hall while she's still struggling to free herself? Would he have to...

I can't believe I never added this when I said I would, almost a year ago. On a Mac, it's in the Wild Card Creator folder inside the Applicati...

[ETU] 6 Wicked Little Books, some flavor text for my fellow ETU "Deans"

When running the Wicked Little Books scenario last year, I typed up quick descriptions of some of the books in question just for flavor. Thanks, Clint, you rock!
