How to Pronounce Whately?

After a quick search, I guess I am the only one that does not know how to pronounce Whately. Is it with a long a like wait or short a like watts? Thank you all. :)

Movement Question.

If you move by opponents and do not attack them, do they gain an attack of opportunity when you move past them?

Yeah? It is weird. I have no problem with any other site I go to. And my computer has checked out. No matter how I try to get to the home site, forums or store, SKYE Frontier states it can't be found or doesn't exist. Started yesterday.

Wow. Thanks for some quick responses. I like the Weakness (Iron) and will think of a variant maybe. Or maybe use Vulnerability (Cold Iron): Elves take +4 damage from Cold Iron attacks. What do you think? As for the day/night question, it is hard to hammer down. In the book, the elves are all about n...

Please help make Elves.

Since I have gotten some good help from the Savages, I have another question. Sorry guys (and gals). I am reading The Broken Sword by Poul Anderson and I really like his take on Elves. I would like to use his style in my fantasy setting. So I am making elven magic "song magic" and giving t...

Thanks for replying guys. The idea came about because the player likes Heahwisards from the Hellfrost setting. We were trying to come up with a basic version of that idea for a more generic DnD Savage Worlds game. Basic spellcasting in the game is mumble some words, wave a hand and maybe have a mate...

New wizard edge/hindrances (please help)

I was thinking about adding these to my fantasy game. What do you think? Focus Required : Minor or Major Hindrance For whatever reason, your mage requires a focus to cast his spells. This focus could be a staff, orb, wand or lucky rabbit's foot, etc. For a minor hindrance, the mage takes a -1 to all...

Legendary hold up?

I have been running a fantasy game for some time now. The players are halfway through Heroic to Legendary. I am having a problem however with characters getting taken out pretty easily. I mean, I can throw Orcs at them ok but if I give the party one Frost Giant (or the equivalent in power), I am a s...

Savage Prime Directive?

I did not know where to ask this so I thought the Pinnacle crew may know. I thought I read something about a Savage Worlds Prime Directive (Star Trek) book being produced by someone. Is this in the works? Or am I just dreaming? :)

I love the cyberpunk genre and with Cubicle 7 (one of my top 3 companies) involved, I will definately be putting money in the piggy bank for Interface Zero. The cover alone gives me hope. How long do I have to benefit from the pre-order? Greetings, I have been waiting on this one since I heard the 2...

I have not seen True Lies or Undercover Blues. I will have to see if I can find them. With that said, I am ready I think. I have created a 52 card Adventure Deck with some new ideas and spy movie pictures and quotes, got bullet shells for bennies and modified a character sheet I found online into a ...

Thanks quixol. I was thinking a modern day game. The idea was of a group of military/spies that worked for the US government and could go anywhere and do anything. I was going to call the group Omega Cell. I am also thinking action with chases, shootouts and high society parties in exotic locales. T...

Modern/Spy games?

Has anyone run a long modern or spy game like Top Secret/SI, Spycraft or Conspiracy X using Savage Worlds? I was thinking about trying to run one but I have only run Deadlands: Reloaded and Hellfrost for SW. Does my favorite system hold up in the face of super spies, car and helicopter chases and :b...

I would recommend "The Siege of Watchgap Fort." It is an adventure by Triple Ace Games about a siege in their Hellfrost setting. Even if you don't run it, I think it gives some great ideas for playing through a siege.

[DLR] Is Abbadon real?

Hey all, I have been listening to Gamer Haven's "Enough Room to Die" and had a question. Is the town of Abbadon (Purgatory?) in any of the official releases for Deadlands or Reloaded? The reason I ask is because two much loved characters in my Deadlands: Reloaded game bought pineboxes in C...
