Re: ChupacabraCon 4 in Austin, TX

Also, the Pinnacle crew is hosting an ETU tailgate party! Join us Friday evening from 6-8 pm in the parking lot at ChupacabraCon for free drinks and chips ('till they're gone). Make a small donation to the con charity and you can challenge a Savage Worlds celeb to a tailgate game like washers, ladd...

Re: [ETU] Suggestions for Degrees of Horror

A couple fun things. First if you want to use Poe as the school mascot and introduce him by being stolen the article I wrote to hook my players into the adventure is now on the official Fighting Ravens website here: ( http://fightingravens.com/2017/04/10/mascot-missing-after-break-in/ Awesome! Than...

Re: [ETU] Scary Texas

Session 2: Missing Mascot - This week the player's successfully tracked down the stolen mascot Poe the Fighting Raven who was stole by rival school Blackburn Tech (BB Tech). Turns out a member of the BB Tech booster club was going to sacrifice the bird to try and curse the ETU Football team before ...

Re: [ETU] Scary Texas

I'm designed my first "NPC card" for the "Scary Texas" ETU campaign. In light of Savage World's emphasis on props and making things visual, I'm considering making a whole deck of these. I don't use miniatures and don't have many maps, so I'm thinking these will give me something...

Re: Guardian Angel Minis

Wow that's a ton of cool ones! So, those are all 28mm scale right? I couldn't tell in my initial look. If so those could really be a great resource to add to my current collection! Yes they are all 28mm. I mix and match them with Reaper minis, Hasslefree, and all others that size. 25mm-28mm. I wrot...

Re: Guardian Angel Minis

I was just wondering what minis you all were using for Grimme's guardian angels and for the Angel of Death? I'm looking to buy a flight of angels at least and wondered what you all used for them? I buy cheap Heroclix for my Savage Worlds minis. I repaint them and rebase them on 25mm bases. They are...

Re: Savage Tales from the Crypt

Love it! Thanks for the share! Thats a pretty cool idea with the character sheets as comic pages. I had an idea for something like that with a Streets of Bedlam convention game thats been rolling around in my head. Set the sheets up like a page from a Sin City comic book. Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: [ETU] What's up with Charbrae Manor and Dale Island?

There is one small thing in the Kelley's Bane One-Sheet that mentions Dale Island and Lake Greystone. I integrated that seed into a bit more in my campaign, tying in Kelley Foote a little bit more to the setting. I'm on my second group and second campaign of running Degrees of Horror and so far I've...

I had full groups in all games (6-7 players). I loved seeing how the different player's took their own spin on the characters. I ran 5...

Re: The Joy of Painting ;)

My mind is racing for a Savage Worlds version of The Joy of Painting! Who else would be in that game? All PBS characters? Hilarious Captain Kangaroo? Mr. Rogers? That Nun that teaches about art? Dr. Ruth? And you can stop the game in the middle and ask for pledges. hahaha...love it! I posted a link...

Re: Looking for ideas for 1980's Kung Fu movie adventure

That's a great list. Although I would consider adding Michelle Yeoh as another female to that list, even though most of her bad @ss movies are slightly out of the 80's and into the early 90's, what's a couple of years ;) Most on your list really got going in the late 80's to early 90's anyways. She...
