"The Cackler"

#1 Postby Tinhorn Huckster » Sat Feb 28, 2015 7:11 pm

So, I've just read the free preview for the upcoming "The Cackler" comic, and I'm sorry to say I'm a bit disappointed with the eponymous villain; I expected someone (or something) a lot more impressive than what's shown (assuming he's the real Cackler, of course).
Why, yes, indeed: I am rather proud of my skill at discourse - my rhetorics, if you will. It would be my great pleasure to broker peace between you good sirs and the Indians.
Incidentally, would any of you gentlemen lend me a deck?

The whole of the series is really, really good. He's quite the villain. Also check out Dead Men Walking if you're curious of his stats.

That said, I feel that the book is partially a fake-out; I think it better sets up some of the backstory of Deadlands in a compelling manner, like the story is telling a story of something else interlaced with the story of the Cackler.

Fear is when you worry about what might be.
Horror is when you are certain." Dannyboy01
