Well, it's only a couple of months. We've had necros crop up that were four or five years old!

Loveless 2013, that's a cool idea. I've been thinking of ideas for aliens that are born from non-human hosts, and that makes a lot of sense for the one (from a dog?) that's shown in Alien3.

oh neat. i did a short alien campaign based on the paranoia of the first film. one alien, and no weapons. it went really well.

i even went so far as the plant some company spies within the group.
savage games ran: ALIEN, deadlands, sticks and stones, home alone, jurassic park, mythos

I am continually impressed by the quality of the fan support material available for Savage Worlds. Recently I downloaded the fillable PDF character sheet from Michele Marron, and then used it to create the pregenerated characters for the scenario I'll be running at Con of the North.

Do you mean in regard to the paralyzing tail sting?

Paralyzing tail sting?

If I'm skewered by that tail, paralyzation is the least of my problems...

I suppose they use it in a slightly less than lethal manner when paralyzing someone.

Here's another collection of plot hooks, maps, characters and other ramblings.

I've been reading the Complete Aliens Omnibus, Volume 1, and it's inspired many of these ideas.

Some really great info here, thanks for all the work!
If anyone is looking for miniatures for use with this, I have just picked up a bunch of the Prodoss Games Aliens Vs Predator The hunt begins minis, and despite a horribly run kickstarter and a mediocre ruleset I don't intend to ever learn, the miniatures are fantastic. They have marines, a large variety of aliens, including facehuggers, drones, and queen, sentry guns, predators, powerloaders. It's excellent stuff though I'm not sure if they will ever produce the last few models they showed off of cloaked predators and alien eggs :( . They're not cheap, but if its in the budget, they are really nice. Only complaint is they are 28mm resin kits with lots of flash left on and fiddly as heck to put together, along the lines of GW models. Chopped off a couple tails and marine shoulder-mounted lights that had to glue back on. But overall, the sculpts are excellent. Just have to get them painted up and will be running a savage aliens campaign soon.

Sounds cool, I wondered how those minis had turned out. I have the Horror clix aliens and predators. I was smart and bought them when they first came out.
