Coyote Confederation

All discussions about the new Noir setting for Deadlands and Savage Worlds. It's 1935 and the only thing that isn't in short supply is trouble.

Coyote Confederation

Any ideas as to what has happened to the Coyote Confederation in Noir? they're no longer on the map in the companion, is this just because of their illegal status? According to HOE they're turned into a wasteland during the great wasting, any ideas what they're up to in the grim 30's?

They're now a part of the confederacy. Whether or not they're being used as a big toxic waste dump yet or not, I couldn't say, but life is probably not terribly fun for the Coyotes these days..

The Coyote Confederation attempted their own Ghost Dance. However, Raven muddled the mixture and the resulting natural disaster turned the Confederation into little more than a permanent dust bowl.

Eventually, the leadership of the Confederation was forced to seek aid from the Confederacy. The Confederacy agreed, but absorbed the territory into their borders.

The toxic-waste dumping has not begun by the time of Noir, but the former tribal lands are pretty much wasteland at this point.
