First critique, columns of the Edges arranged alphabetically might be easier to follow.

I also don't know why you have the ABs costing different amounts of points. Aren't they 2 for the Edge, 1 for the Power, 1 per 5 PP, and 2 per arcane Skill?

Finally, you might include a feature to add special equipment/abilities (in case we need more than 1 apiece).

Also, Guts is no longer in use in Showdown.

Maybe I'm pointing the ABs wrong. The Old TB sheet I have says 1 per power and 1 per 5 PPs. So that is how I pointed the ABs.

You can add as much as you like to the special abilities and special eq. Separate them with <br/> if you like

[edit]Oh, thanks for the comments by the way. The Edges are arranged alphabetically left-to-right.

I need to work on the output. I'd like it to output in pdf to 3x5 index cards as well as the web view.

Alternately I'd like to be able to output 4 or 6 different cards to a single 8.5x11 page. hmmmm....

Which do you think would be more useful?

BTW: I intend to revisit the pointing when the new showdown rules come out.

It would be great if the web out put was 3x5 (I have all my monsters and armies on 3x5 cards).
A single card on a page would be useful for stating out simple armies. The multi card on one page would be terrific for more complex armies.
If you do go with several 3x5 cards on one page could you make it so that they share borders? It makes them easier to cut out (less cuts).

Here is a working draft of the 3x5 pdf. It is very rough, but I'd appreciate comments. http://home.frohlich.net/sample.pdf

I have had good luck getting these to print with OSX Preview. Not so much with Acrobat. :(

I like the pdf; it's easy for me to snip and put on a powerpoint slide and print out from there. It's also good because I can play around with the size and such as an image and also look at putting a back on it...like the one from the adventure decks, again via powerpoint.

Cool...good job. Although, I've noticed that it seems to calculate up base parry as 3 rather than 2; characters without the fighting skill still have a minimum parry of 2.

Yeah, Parry is not calculated correctly when the fighting die is 0.
You can get around it for now by entering -1 in the "Other Parry Bonus" field.
This will cause it to render as 2(-1), which is not great either. I guess I'll have to fix the parry calc... ;)

[edit] OK. Parry is fixed. Thanks for the bug report.

I got the pdf to work once but it hasn't worked sense. I tried on two different computers and opperating systems.

It can take up to 70 seconds to begin downloading the pdf. PM me with the details and I'll see if I can debug the issue.

I am certain that I had the pdf failure while you were working on it because an hour later the format of the builder screen had changed (armor and weapons to the right).

It is working now.

Very nice.

This is great; looks like a lot of work went into this.

A request - would it be possible to download an offline version? My experience is that after a period of time online tools can disappear; plus it could be used even if you're not able to get online.
