Is there any option to add more then 1 Edge and 1 Special Ab. to Unit? Some save option can be greate too :)

Hi

All the lists are multi-select list. On Mac hold down CMD while clicking to select more than one item. On Windows I guess it would be CTRL that you need to hold down.

In a later version I'm going to modify those lists to have check boxes.

I like the app. Played around with it a bit and found it easy to use. I did notice an issue with the Undead power. When I added it to multiple characters it was only adding +1 to the toughness.

That's fixed now. It was a simple bug in the Special Abilities data.

Thank you for taking the time to tell me about the issue.

You may need to clear your browser cache to pick up the change. If you still see it adding +1 toughness please clear the cache or try in another browser or in an incognito window.

The selectors that you're using aren't letting me "deselect" options. Once I pick an Edge, I can only switch to a different Edge. I can't deselect everything. I found this when I accidentally added a ranged weapon, then tried to get rid of it. Changing to checkboxes would help.

What about saving the selections, so you can load and update files?

Otherwise, it looks slick. (Yay for Angular! :) )

What platform are you running it on?

On OSX or Windows in Chrome simply re-select an already selected item to un-highlight it. It works like a toggle. I agree about checkboxes been the way to go but this was the quickest option to get us going.

Refresh the page to start again.

An import / export feature is something I'd like to add too. You're the second person to ask for it on this forum so I'll work on that next.

Webapp looks great. I noticed a gear issues with Shield's adding to a characters toughness. Medium Shield (Armor 2, Parry 1). The armor mod would only be situational.

I see what you mean. The rules and spreadsheet are a bit vague here.

Pg 14
Shields add a bonus to Parry, and large shields add to Toughness (see the Reference Tables for specifics).


Pg 30 (i.e. the reference tables)
Shield (Med; +1 Parry to attacks from the front, +2 Armor vs Ranged Shots)
*** no mention of large or small shields! ***


The Excel spreadsheet has an Armor sheet that shows both Medium and Large shields giving 2 AP but sadly the Figures sheet never make use of the Armor sheet for any of the values in the Armor column.

The old PHP Troop Builder by MightyCthulhu (which inspired me to write my version) used to add 1 to Toughness for medium shields but I don't know what it did for large shields.

Savage Worlds full rules cover all sizes (see below). Both medium and large shield toughness bonus only applies to ranged shots. For now I will move shields to the Hand Weapons section which will allow them to have full description. I will also remove the affect they have on Toughness but leave the affect on parry in place. It appears that the toughness bonus is always situational for ranged shots against front / left (or right). In future I may give shields a dedicated section.

Shields**
Small Shield (buckler) +1 Parry
Medium Shield +1 Parry, +2 Armor to ranged shots that hit
Large Shield (kite, pavise) +2 Parry, +2 Armor to ranged shots that hit

**Shields protect only against attacks from the front and left (assuming a right-handed character).


Please let me know your thoughts on this.
