Classic: Improving Aptitudes

#1 Postby Matches Malone » Sun Mar 05, 2017 1:28 pm

Hey pardners, how does it work on aptitudes with concentrations?

E.g.: Carl has Shooting pistols 5 with a concentration on rifles. so he has a value of 5 in shootig rifles, too

If i improve Shooting pistols to 6, is Shooting rifles included in the raise as a concentration keeps the Level on par with the main skill? Or do i have to spend the bounty Points on rifles extra?

If you have a skill with multiple concentrations then increasing the skill affects all the concentrations.
The primary exception are aptitudes like Trade, Profession, or Knowledge where the concentrations are generally unrelated and have to be bought as completely separate aptitudes.

So, for the example of Carl and his Shootin'. Carl has two Shootin' concentrations, and raises his Aptitude to 6. There is no additional bounty cost to increase both concentrations - Carl already paid for that when he got the second concentration.
Clear?

"Not against a Servitor."
